Boycott Absolut?
Not sure if this belongs here or in the OC, but Absolut has ad advertising campaign in Mexico based on an 1830's map of the US and Mexico showing most of the West (Oregon through Texas) being part of Mexico with the headline "In An Absolut World".
I'll be sure to never buy Absolut again.

Apparently, a significant segment of the Mexican population persists in denying that portions of the territory of the USA are not rightfully part of Mexico. The Absolut advertising campaign is evidently aimed squarely at these individuals, not to mention at Mexican pride in general. It's a tempest in a teapot that's really all about sales and profits.
And no, I don't drink Absolut.

I'm guessing those who boycott it don't drink much of it or Absolut needs a refund from their marketing company
