My tobacconist gifted me one of these on Friday, so I torched it on my drive home. Here are my thoughts.
Pre-light, the cigar had a very pale light brown wrapper, which was silky smooth with a little peach fuzz on it. The cigar was a little soft, but very well constructed. After clipping I rolled it around in mouth before lighting, but couldn't discern any flavor from the wrapper. However, the draw was excellent, nice and easy, not tight. Upon lighting, smoke volume was quite dense. The cigar burned flawlessly thorughout. The flavor was pretty mild at first, but grew a little in strength towards the second half. Hints of cedar, earth and nuts, nothing to distinct or overly pronounced, but a very pleasant taste. It was actually a good switch from the A. F. sungrown line I've been smoking lately. I quite enjoyed this little cigar, I would rate it as mild/medium, and score it at 7.5 out of 10. I don't know what it cost, but if it is under $4 I would say it's a good value.
