Spiny.
unless they are cracked or out-right broken ,if it were me , i`d clean them up and use them . I was fortunate enough to get one of my granddads` pipes . An old Dr Graybow, but , every time i light it up , a sense of connection to him overtakes me . I am glad i get to smoke it . The same with a " hash pipe " type that was my uncles . Not really a hash pipe , its just a small straight stemmed pipe that we always kidded him about . Every time I smoke it , I always remember some of the great times we had . he was 1st generation Italian immigrant . His command of English and accent was more pronounced at times . His nick-name for me was Hop-A-Long Keysa-Deesh. I suggest you take the time and effort . you`ll be glad you did .
