Cabiguan Maduro
Smoked my first of the new Cabiguan Maduro I picked up while on a trip in Denver. Haven't seen them grace the shelves here yet but I'm sure they're around.
This is an excellent cigar. I'll admit that I'm not much of a Maduro guy and smoke very few. There's something about the underlying coating flavor of Maduro that isn't my favorite. I do reach for one once in a while for a change of pace. Size is a 5 5/8 by 46. Burn was razor sharp and the ash burned almost white. Flavor was sweet at the beginning with underlying leather no doubt due to the wrapper. Towards the end some subtle spice with sweetness, leather still profound. A very enjoyable 45 minute smoke with ample volumes of tasty maduro flavors. If you are a maduro smoker, you will love this cigar |
