Papua New Guinea Arokara
There are very few new coffees (read that new to ME), that make me sit up, look at my cup and go "WOW!" This is one of them.
Roasted to just short of second crack, this cup had a beautiful winey acidity, it was creamy, fruity, full-bodied, had a long caramel finish and just the slightest hint of that funk that is the signature of PNG coffees. If you like PNGs, and even if you're on the fence about them, you owe it to yourself to try this bean.
