New Grinder

I've had quite a few grinders.... the blade grinder (Cusinart), Burr (Cusinart), Burr (Krupps). The blade grinders are for shit for an even grind. The Cusinart Burr was a nice grinder but gave a bit too much powder after grinding, and was too loud for my wife So she bought me a Burr - junk. Hated it. MESSY with the lid that you had to take off after the grind - loaded with powder from the grind. Then it shit the bed after less than a year. Not even worth sending back.

So I picked up the Capresso Infinity grinder. I'm not all that crazy about the timer setting but other than that, it's really performing well. Smooth running, great grind, not a bit of grind powder, and not a bit of mess after I take out the ground beans from the machine and dump 'em into the pot. I've seen some pretty fancy machines but for $90 this is highly recommended

Thanks for the heads up on that. I am hoping my Cuisinart burr grinder dies REAL soon so I can replace it with something much better.

You will not be disappointed, IMO. It works great for me. Drip. Press. Moka Pot. I'm loving this thing

Great info, my wife feels the same way about the burr grinder.

I've had the Capresso Infinity for a couple of years now. There are better burr grinders out there, but not for the money. I've never felt like I need something better, I've even given two as gifts, I think that highly of it.
