I was thinking of trying Kentucky Club, Carter Hall, Revelation, or Hickory. Any opinions on these. (I've seen the reviews on tobaccoreviews, but I wanted more input). Anyone a regular smoker of any or all of these?

I dont have any experience with those brands, however I will admit to firing up a bowl of Captain Black every once in a while. Good memories!

Thanks for the input cigarmouth..BTW do you know that a 50 gram bag of CB sells for about $20 here!!!! Outrageous!

When I crave inexpensive mildly aromatic tobacco, I buy the following from Walgreens.

1. One 14 oz. (400 gram) bag of house brand toasted cavendish
2. One 14 oz. (400 gram) bag of house brand vanilla, virginia, cavendish mixture.

Then I take 5 oz. (140 grams) from each bag and make a 10 oz. (280 gram) mixture of the two. It gives me a choice of three different tobaccos. Occasionally, I'll mix some toasted cavendish into an English blend that is too strong for me.

The 14 oz bags are $10.00USD ($13.98CD) each.
