I won a five-pack of Torpedos on CB over the summer. They were loosely rolled, acrid, hot and tasteless. If they had ever been fresh, it was when Ol Blue Eyes was singing with Tommy Dorsey. Not on my Top 40, I assure you.
So when a colleague approached me about bidding on some, my eyes grew wide and I let out a startled "Yipe!" But he wouldn't listen ... and soon a five-pack arrived at his doorstep. In the interests of justice, I smoked another one from his fiver. (Mine I had pawned off on unsuspecting defense attorneys and given to my daughter's cat to bury in the sandbox.) Well ... this time around I found them to be acrid, hot and tasteless. My advice - listen to him sing, but avoid the namesake smokes. "... smoking is one of the greatest and cheapest enjoyments of life, and if you decide in advance not to smoke, I can only feel sorry for you." - Sigmund Freud
