Partagas P2 Review
Smoked outdoors on the balcony at the Gran Bahia Principe in Akumal, at 6:00am with a fine Altura Mexican coffee.
Appearance - Reddish wrapper, thin veins, awesome looking wrapper, perfect cap. 5/5 Construction - Perfect draw, slightly spongy, but somewhat dense. Smoked well, giving generous amounts of smoke in every puff. Burn was even and no relights. Ash was firm, light grey with some black ash mixed in. I have to say, the ash structure was very nice. 5/5 Flavor - INCREADIBLE! Right from the start, it was very strong, lots of earth, slightly spicy, bold Partagas flavor. Some might find this cigars flavor to be way too generous for a morning cigar. If so, I recommend you puff slowly, this will bring out the best flavors of this cigar without bitterness or burning too hot. Puff too aggressive and it might be overwhelming for some. The flavors are FANTASTIC. 10/10 Final thoughts - This cigar will only be approachable to experienced cigar smokers who love them strong. If you are a fan of Partagas intense flavors, you will surely love this cigar. Smoke it slow and enjoy what every puff has to offer. This cigar took me 1.5 hours to smoke, and it was an incredible smoking experience. 20/20 Highly recommend.
