Excalibur Legend Challenger
As a long time lurker, seldom poster I felt I should review this cigar. Enjoyed this cigar after my wife's superb meatloaf, roasted rosemary potatoes and salad. Shallow cut with a xicar cutter, smoked with a good chardonnay. Started out with a powerful spicy and peppery ligero flavor, mellowed out after a few minutes. Continued with a wonderful complexity of spices and flavors. The burn was magnificent, a very firm medium gray ash. Smoked it until it started to burn my fingers and lips. I would rate it 9+. I'm going to a Legend sponsored event at my local B&M this weekend, if the price is right will buy some more. If you like a full bodied and tasty cigar I would certainly recommend. I think it would be even beter with a good rum like Bacardi 8 or Pyrat.
