New Old Boy
I've been needing a new pipe lighter for quite a while now, but I've been holding out for the pending re-release of the Corona Old Boy. I've never owned one before, but I had always heard that the were just about the top pipe lighter out there. Anyway, they finally re-appear for sale last week. I snapped one up right away from Mars (link) and received it last night. Great looking lighter ... I bought the "pipe shapes" model. I realized once I opened it that I have no idea how it works. The instructions weren't very helpful as they were "international" style ... pictures with little text for every model of lighter that Corona makes. I could get it filled with butane fairly easily, but I just couldn't get the damn thing to light. I tried different combinations of opening and striking for about 10 minutes before I finally got it to work. Once I figured it out, it works great ... highly recommended. I just feel like a idiot that, even with all my years of smoking, I couldn't figure out how to start a simple lighter.
