Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, and have a question for all of you. I purchased a Diamond Crown humidor a couple of years ago. Last year, the humidification device started leaking on my cigars!!!!! Terrible. They did however offer to replace damaged cigars, and quickly sent a replacement humidifier. Last week, same problem- the damn thing started leaking on my cigars again. They aknowledged the problem had been fixed (blamed it on a supplier), but they will not send a new one until next week at the soonest. Please let me know if anyone else has dealt with this.
Thanks.

If I could afford a Diamond Crown humidor, do you think I'd buy a leaky humidifier???

Welcome to the board, Philp! Sorry, can't address your question.

Had trouble with the humi itself and they replaced it, twice. Great service. Never liked the humidification devices so never used one for long. I'm about to put a couple unopened ones on ebay.

Try Davidoff Windsor

About 6 months ago I bought the smallest (40 cigar) Diamond Crown Windsor with that new Diamond Crown humidification device and digital readout. It seems to be working like a charm. Does anyone else have one of these?

I'm sorry I can't help you regarding the humidor.

I must tell you though, that I am thoroughly impressed with your finding a pertinent thread eight and one half years old.

Nicely done.

I've been around for a while and it predates me.

They did replace it with a maroon one last year. The original one was black. They were both defective. Thanks for the input, you guys are all right. This forum was highly recommended by my friend Mike Clancy!!!!!

Philip. since no one has said it, let me be the first to welcome you to CWBB.

Unfortunatley, I have no experience with the
Diamond crown products.

What I do with mine is make sure it is tightened very well. Then I let it sit upside down for a few minutes just to make sure it the cap is on secure.Haven't had an problems usng this method.I had a black one that didn't release any moistur eand they switched it out for the moron and no problems.
