Since the demise of my Hearthware, I've gone back to the poppers for now.
I have 3 popperies, a westbend hot air popper that has a rounded top and a popcorn pumper that looks like some kind of alien space craft. I use the westbend and the pumper and rotate between the two when I need more than one batch. The pumper roasts insanely fast and goes from first crack to second dang near instantly. The westbend is slower and more predictable, and I've had it for years. I keep the popperies around as backups. |
