Medio Tiempo wrapper?

Can anyone give me a bit of info of what Medio Tiempo wrappers are? I see them listed when I look up cigars online. I think I've only seen them listed as Connecticut Medio Tiempo. Do they come from anywhere else? Is it a variety of leaf or is it the result of a process (such as extra fermentation or curing)? What taste does it lend? What are some good smokes that feature it? I don't think I have ever smoked a cigar with this wrapper; I've been trying to research the smokes I've enjoyed lately but there were quite a few before I got this into it, so am unsure.

Sorry, this question is probably longer than the answer!
Thanks
