I recently bought 8 oz. of Esoterica Stonehaven. I opened the bag to find what looked suspiciously like the jerky treats I give my dogs.

I filled 3 half pint mason jars for the cellar, and had enough left for several smokes, so I decided to dig in.

I decided to give the fold and stuff method a try. The flake is thin and pliable enough to fold easily, and one flake fits perfectly in my GBD. I rubbed a little bit out to sprinkle over the top for tinder.

It took a little more effort to light than a normal fully rubbed blend, 3 matches as opposed to two, but once lit it stayed lit.

Burned nice and cool, and lasted a loooooooooong time. I'm not great at describing flavors, but this stuff is yummy!

Glad I got 8 oz.!
