Another great day to brew a iipa. Maharaja Clone from AHS. Should be ready to drink in 21 days. On Tuesday I brewed a Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale clone. Gotta get up early to beat this Central Texas heat. Today's brew started at 7am at 78 deg, right now it's 88 on the way to 108!
Can't say it enough..love love love my Jaded King Cobra Chiller. Even with our tap water hovering around 78 deg I can take 6.5 gal of boiling wort down to 140 in 4 min and 80 11 min. Once it hits 80 I put a huge ice block in a 5 gal bucket and run a recirc pump and it drops the temp to 70 in a few more min. Huuuuuge cold breaks= clear wort going into the sstech brew buckets. http://jadedbrewing.com/products/the-king-cobra Sent from my iPad Last edited by mike s; 07-14-2016 at 10:53 AM. |

Check out the digital tap list I made to put above the keezer! Just need a cheap tv or computer monitor and an Amazon Fire stick And I will have more info displayed for guest tasters.
https://taplist.io/mikes-keezer/ If you have more than one beer on tap this is what you need! Props to taplist.io |

Picked up two 7 gal unitanks to ferment in. Cool thing about these is that they have heating and a cooling coil built in so I can control ferment temps better than the fridge with a glycol system. Als can naturally add co2 and ferment under pressure as well as do closed transfers through a filter right to the kegs. I’m stoked! My hot side process is pretty good now the cold side will b e even better.

Just finished a Belgian Special Saison and a Negra Modelo clone. Ready to start Blue Moon from the original recipe of the former brewmaster from Coors who first brew it in Colorado.
