I decided to treat myself Friday night to this beauty. A belicoso, 6 x 52, the natural wrapper was beautiful, smooth, almost a shame to light.
Once lit this cigar had an over whelming flat taste that I have gotten lately with other Dominican cigars, often with Connecticut Shade wrapper. However, once I got through the first 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, this flatness abated and the cigar's true flavors emerged. Since I'm not a hints and notes guy, I will tell you that I liked whatever flavors this cigar had. It was full bodied and full of flavor but its stregnth was medium. It did not knock me over with stregnth. I enjoyed it immensely. The tobacco was certainly well aged, smooth and the burn was razor thin and it performed like a champion. I recommend these, and would like to try more (I'm in three passes, hint, hint.) "You come out of the tunnel. Everyone is screaming. Everyone is going crazy. You can smell the bourbon." LSU QB Rohan Davey on running onto the field in Tiger Stadium Then you ask yourself, oh sure, but WWTD? WALT!
