Humi's sittin higher than they should be...help?

Well heres the story, i got 2 smallish humis, the ones JR sells for $20, they are both pretty full up, in one i have a small tube full of 70% climmax beads (they are maybe a year old...they look kind of yellow now..and some aresplit in half) and in the other i have one of those hockey puck ones that look like it just has floral foam in it, i have two of the same little hygrometers in it, small analogs i also got from JR, i have done the salt calibration and put them back in....but now both are sitting at about 72-73%...which is a little high isnt it? they sit next to me at my computer in my room which is usually pretty cool, our A/C kicks on if it gets over 75f in our house, so i dont think temperature is a problem....
