Choklat Stout from Southern Tier in NY. Haven't tried it yet. Heard great things about it. Will crack it open watching some football tomorrow.

Granted, it is a great beer, but I can get it anytime at more than a dozen places.

Can't wait to try the others.
I've done the same. Not so special, but not a bad beer.

Got a 12 of the winter classics last night for $9.99 and a 6 of Spaten Oktoberfest for $4.99. Must be clearing these out locally?

I have to agree with you. I was out in the Portland & Bend area this past November and while in Bend my Son took me to the Deschutes brewery for the tour. Fortunately for us they had JUST made available this season's release of The Abyss. I picked up a bottle, took it back to my Daughter's place and 3 of us split the bottle that night.....it lived up to it's reputation IMO!
Has anyone tried Deschute's "Hop Henge"? They were scheduled to release that one about a week after I left, I'm going to try and get my Son to send me some. My favorites that I sampled while there in addition to The Abyss would be the "Inversion" and "Red Chair"
Yummmmmmmmy!!!!!!

I recently picked up a six pack of Winter Cheer made by Spanish Peak Brewery. I highly recommend this beer if you are a fan of Sam Adams Winter Brew. Very similar except a bit hoppier. I spent $10 for the 6 pk.

Definitely worth trying!!

Happy Holidays!!

Thx,
Brian

Extremely Piney. I drank too much of this stuff and I still have a 6-Pack left. I've been swinging more towards Full Moon lately, damn that's a great beer
