Spices you detest (and other things)
Cilantro/Coriander
Cumin Sumac yogurt cucumbers It's really hard to find a Mediterranean (east) cuisine that doesn't have at least one of these spices/flavorings in it. We went to a Greek restaurant tonight and I found precious little that didn't make me want to gag. At least the baklava was tasty. The wife enjoyed her meal thoroughly. Three courses. Before the baklava, I wanted to throw up. I used to be able to choke down a schwarma sammitch. No more. I like lamb, but unless you are going to serve it grilled with rosemary, garlic and olive oil, you can pretty much keep your fucking hero. Indian food? Empty the spice cabinet and see if the white people will eat it. I'd rather have the macaroni and beef at any Ryan's than a buffet at the Indian or Greek buffets. And I'm not particularly fond of Ryan's macaroni and beef. No thanks. I'd rather graze in the parking lot. And, oh by the way, this pita bread shit is for the birds. I am really beginning to understand why the Islamists hate us so much. If that is all the shit I had to eat, I'd freaking hate us too. Cave men ate better than that. Yuck. Rant off.
