In the beginning, sometimes. Depends on the weather, how moist the cigars were to start, etc.

try just leaving it shut for a couple days then checking it.

If you want to smoke a few during that week, take them out and put them into a ziplock bag (heavy, freezer bag) or a large tupperware-type container.

Ok good to know. I have this weird fear that I'm going damage them beyond repair.
