Room 101 Nambuki Filero

Yes, I have already reviewed the Johnny Tobacconaut and Big Chief Cool Arrow Filerokee, but the Nambuki predates them both.

A nice oily brown wrapper covered in tissue and paper like the other art series Room 101's, it shares many of the distinct flavors and body from the Tobacconaut and the Cool Arrow except they seem to be getting stronger with time.

Much like the other Room 101 Figurados it has a perfect draw and burn. And the flavors are leathery, peppery and have a wonderful taste of toasted tobacco.

If a short story tasted this good the Fuentes would hold a larger market share than they already do.

There is an almost meaty taste halfway that fades quickly to be replaced by a peppery flavor that reminds me of the aftertaste of a good piece of tenderloin spiced just right,

The ash is a mostly light grey that is very solid past the one inch mark. At the 1/3 mark thi cigar has given me no complaints except maybe that it's too short. Clearing the ash reveals a nice conical burn.

The smoke remains very cool and pleasant, allowing the complexity of flavors to shine through. The meaty and peppery notes continue to be very nicely balanced.

This is a very nice mild to medium bodied cigar that is ideal for the last smoke of the night. At 2/3 it remains very flavorful without being a nicotine bomb like too many cigars are. Perhaps it is the immaculate construction that tapers off the strength as you finish.

The heat of the draw only becomes an issue as the cigar becomes too hot to hold.? I still made it down to one inch or so before I had to put it down.

To compare it to it's "cousins" the Johnny Tobacconaut and the Big Chief Cool Arrow, the ash, burn and construction are virtually the same, with only the flavor profiles being different. A wonderful cigar that easily earns 9.5/10. Joe Bob says check it out!
