Canimao Churchill
Canimao Churchill - 7 X 48. Wrapper - Ecuadorian Sumatra, Binder - Ecuadorian Sumatra, Filler - Dominican & Nicaragua. Just to the right side of Medium bodied.
Initial lighting flavors were that of cedar, leather and spice. First third - Spice, leather and nutmeg. A creamy sweetness emerges with the cedar taste fading. Second third - Flavors are continuing to build and evolve - tangy, citrus spice, leather and a very enjoyable creamy sweet cocoa taste. Last third - The spice is even stronger now with more of a fruity orange peel citrus taste. The leather now gives way to a coffee flavor along with the creamy, sweet cocoa. Very enjoyable. Long tasty finish of tangy spice, sweet cream and coffee. Construction, burn and draw were excellent. This was a very good, well balanced and complex cigar that I smoked down to the nub. Ecuadorian Sumatra is one of my favorite wrappers on a cigar and this cigar is exactly my flavor profile. MSRP on this vitola is $6.56 which is a great value in my opinion for what this cigar delivers. Highly recommended. |
