Found this place yesterday and wanted to say howdy.
I'm relatively new to cigars and am still trying out new and different things. I seem to be gravitating toward medium- to full-bodied sticks with more of a woody/leathery/earthy flavor (e.g., Partagas Black), but have liked a variety of things so far (e.g., La Flor Dominicana Reserva Especiale was mild but flavorful ). The robusto size seems to fit in good with my tastes and time, but I'd love to try something like a Churchill or double corona sometime. Other than that I like good BBQ and good beer-- my ideal day is cranking up the smoker and sitting out back on the deck with homebrew,a good cigar, and good friends. I hope to learn a lot more about cigars here, especially from you more experienced folk.
