A rather luxurious blended Scotch, utterly and totally delicious. Complex, balanced, mix of Speyside and Highland single malts. Best dram I've had since Christmas

I've long been of the opinion that blended malts (formerly and, to my view, more appropriately termed vatted malts) have the potential to be among the very finest of whiskies, if only for a heightened degree of complexity.

Apparently, this particular one brings together some 40 single malts (all purportedly sourced from outside of William Grant & Sons' owned distilleries). Plus, it's a 25-year old.

I bet it's good!

Never really cared for blends unless I blend them at home using my favs. (Like right now.)

if you have a chance try this one, it is outstanding. The one I had at Christmas had single malts up to 60 years old in it... truly outstanding. Yes. Complex. Yes. Delicious.
