question about a cooler

I have a igloo cooler that is a bout 2 years old, and have been thinking about useing it as a coolerodor. I poored a cup of water in it and closed the lid, tiped it upside down and water started to leak where the lid seam is. The cooler was fully closed. Does this mean that it is not completely air tight?

I'd say that it's not airtight.

That is a good question. Wonder what would happen if i did the same thing with my cooler? I would imagine you would want it air tight though but then again i have very little experience with this stuff. Hopefully someone will have the answer.

Is it clean? How does it smell inside?

Beer? Fish? Get a new one.

Clean? Plastic? Should be okay. I use Windex, wipe it with a paper towel and let air dry a couple of days.
