Palate Shift?

I'm at a crossroads with my mouth and olfactory....I know, things not to say in prison or there goes my social life

I started smoking about a year ago and I didn't smoke as often as I do now. It is like a steamroller that started out slow and has slowly gained speed. When I started, I pretty much only smoked mild cigars, then about 3 months ago I stepped up into the medium realm with the occasional fuller side. I find that I don't care for some of the mild ones I used to "love" or I can't do a mild without a lot of body.

Anyway, there were smokes that I liked as little as a month ago that I don't seem to care for them as much now...what gives? Is my palate changing that much this fast?
