I just found out my new Morta Poker pipe is done. Check it out

Morta is also known as bog wood. It is very old wood. If you want to know more about Morta wood, check out this link.

This pipe is made by a pipe maker in the Czech Republic. His name is Martin Čermák. This piece is made with an older Morta and is unfinished. I requested unfinished because I like the look of unfinished Morta wood. I basically wanted an everyday smoking pipe that wasn't too fancy and is good for outdoor outings and travel. This is what Martin came up with.

9/19/16 UPDATE: More details about this pipe. Natural unfinished morta, sandblast look, black/gold stone ring, acrylic stem.

Received new pipe today. Shipping took 8 days from the Czech Republic. Not bad for regular airmail.

Morta is a lot lighter then I expected. Martin followed my directions on the dimensions I requested, based on smoking flake tobacco. The dimensions were spot on.

Fits great in the hand.
