What's your favorite...
...what's your favorite summertime beer?
I'm looking for something light for the hot days of summer. Any suggestions?

I like IPA in the summer, I am not a fan of wheat beers or beers with citrus in them.

Furstenburg German Pilsner or Marston's Pedigree Bitter when I'm looking for a good hoppy finish along with a lighter alcohol level.
Gordon's Pale Scottish Ale when I'm in the mood for something stronger.

Dogfish 60 minute IPA
Dos Equis Amber Czechvar Pilsner when I want to splurge. Eventually it gets too damn hot for me to enjoy any beer and I start drinking gin.

When it's really hot, I've been known to take good ol' Miller High Life and pour it over ice with a squeeze of lime. Back in the 70s some of the local spots used to serve Schlitz Malt Liquor that way.
