What are you making for the 4th ?

Seeing as though it is a Wednesday probably scales back a little of what people may have done in the past when have a day or two off...

Anyhow ...

What are your food plans for the 4th ?

I am not sure what I am doing yet other than it will be on smoker , in the back of my mind is stuffed pork tenderloin , spare ribs or beef short ribs.

My niece is hosting this 4th. It's a potluck, of sorts. There'll be smoked ribs, pork loin, pulled pork, fried chicken, burgers and hotdogs... Along with all the sides and desserts.

I'm here alone for the week, so I won't be cooking much. Baby backs on the smoker today and I'll eat those the rest of the week.

I'll be smoking baby backs tomorrow to take over to my daughter's on Wednesday where the whole crew will be.

Well, ended up smoking 2 pork tenderloins. One stuffed ( red onion , spinach , swiss cheese and apricot preserves) the other with Big Ron's competition rub and wrapped in bacon , doctored up baked beans and a vinegar based coleslaw...
