I hhave read theta so many people insist the only "real" pipes are non filter or non system pipes. I have a ver modest and inexpensive collection of 5 pipes. 2 are Calabrese non filter, 1 is a Czech Curuchwarden, I Corncob filter and ! Medico. I like the way they all look and feel and smokes. If you saw a pipe you liked alot it was in you budget, and you found out it was s system or filter pipe would you not buy it. I enjoy all my pipes with different blends. Some blends just better in the filter pipe, other loose alot of taste. I would very much enjoy some day plunking down a few hundred buck for a high quality pipe, but right now Ita so far ur of my price range. To make this a little short, try not to rule out filter pipes soley because of the price you might find a nice inexpensive that can add to your smoking pleasure! jmho
