they should run faster if they don't want to get eaten... VA, MD, VA and WA oysters eaten tonight with good French sancerre. Yummy.

Had a premier cru chenin blanc with a seafood tower this afternoon, again crisp and cold and mineral with seafood is an afternoon well spent

Domaine Gerard Millet Sancerre 2016 -- $22.00. We went through almost (strike that) a full two bottles with steak, fries, and a salad.

I've not found oysters and scotch a likable pairing. Had fried oysters with a really good porter last night, and liked the pairing much

It's the coastal, peppery flavour profile of Talisker that I find complements fresh oysters nicely. (Each to his or her own taste, however.) Other than that, I'd easily go for a good Savennières (Domaine du Closel comes to mind) or a Premier Cru Chablis.

Went to Barona Casino in San Diego yesterday. They always serve the freshest oysters. So good.

I can see some Savennières, but I would go Chablis then Albarino or cremant but that's me
