Actually, I like the MC #4's. I just like other cigars more. I am letting the box I ordered age. I smoke one every few months.

No. But if Texas is anything like NY, you need to "declare" out of state mail/internet orders and pay Texas state sales taxes. Is that what you do?

And I bet you wait in line at the tax office to declare and pay.

If you guys would quit cheating on your taxes the government could afford to fix the potholes.

While my information is at least 5 years old, as of 2010 or 11 the MC#4 represented 55% of all Montecristo production !

This new ruling allows people to circumvent S-CHIP and state tobacco taxes.
It also eliminates trademark protection by the US based companies that own Cuban Trademarks such as Montecristo, Punch, Hoyo, etc.

No one in government ever bothers to ask people in the industry about the pro's and cons and impact these rulings have. My personal dealings with everyone in government have been an exercise in futility. Inept people in positions of authority that have life long careers, pensions, health insurance, and every holiday known to man regardless of how little they know (or make any effort to know).

Well, I'm glad that it's legal for me to consume Cuban products while I'm overseas, but I've been back from Saudi since April.

This still doesn't really help me.
