Humidor set up

Probably on the wrong section but I'm a little stuck. I read so many conflicting ways on how to season and maintain your humidor. Been told to use boveda packs but also told to use heartfelt beads. Been told to use distilled water but also the anti mould solution to prep my humidor. But also been told to use the sponge method but also told not too. Been told to use a seasoning pack and leave for 14 days but also read you can set up a humi in 2 days not 14. I read so many conflicting articles that all give great info but they all have different info. So I just want to set up my humi and store my cigars the right way (if there is one) because I have all the gear and no idea atm so please someone help.

Many thanks.
