As an alternative to a cigar, I've started to experiment with pipe tobacco as a mid-afternoon break. The largest tobacco shop here is one I refuse to do business with due to the owner's expressed anti-Semitism (I'm not Jewish, but I detest open racism and choose to business with my feet). The other tobacconist only has about 8 different varieties that can be purchased by the ounce and most of them are flavored. I could try the Tinderbox at the mall, but I really avoid the mall for everything but new eyeglasses at LensCrafters.

So far, I don't care much for cherry or apple-flavored tobacco and seem to prefer Cavendish over Burleigh blends. Because I like stronger cigars, I'm finding that I prefer medium-strength blends as well.

So, if any of you are interested, I'd like to trade some of my homemade canned goods for a selection of pipe tobaccos. Not looking for anything in particular and no more than a couple of bowls worth of each one to try a number of them out. If you're willing to help a brother out, I can certainly keep you happy with homemade preserves of many types.

LMK...I'm open to about anything at this point, so long as I can identify it for a future purchase if I like a particular blend.
