Ok, here's what I'm looking for
A mild smoke (low nicotine) with flavor.
Come on, they can do it with cigars, they've just got to be able to do it with pipe tobacco. I just don't need that huge nicotine kick. Blech.

When I'm looking for a mild smoke I go with my own style of Half and Half.
1 part AAA White Burley 1 part Bright Virginia Just a suggestion, but it works for me!

I find McClelland Arcadia mild yet great flavors. It is an English Oriental.
For a Cavandish the Nat Sherman 307 I have tried is also quite mild. Burley Based. A sweet VA that's just a step up from mild is Orlik Golden Sliced. It is a Flake Tobacco. It's hard to find a VA that is low in Nicotine but this one isn't all that strong. Mild is not my thing and there are very few tobaccos I have in my cellar that I have kept that are. These three have made it a few years for the flavor alone.

I too do not care for lots of nicotine in my pipe tobacco ... yet I want a good dose of flavor.

Thanks!
