It's good, but I need to smoke a couple more bowls of it to really
decide how good it is. I'll smoke it in a cob tomorrow. The cobs
usually bring out the tobacco better than some of the briars.

Smoking my blend of GH Brown Cavendish (1/3) and Kendall Mixture (2/3) in a Comoys Billiard, love this stuff!

I’m smoking some really tasty palate punishment this evening. GH Brown Bogie in a Stanwell 191. So strong and satisfying.

So good, but why palate punishment? As strong as it is, pretty smooth on the palate, no?

I find that if I puff to hard with this tobacco, the flavor can be too agressive. Slow puffing tames it down to a more enjoyable level of flavor. Plus that nicotine hit can too much at times.

Gentle and well-spaced puffing can ease that "punishment."

I smoked it today and although it's good, I think the perique stands out a
little bit more than the latakia. I'm really not that big of a fan of perique tobaccos, so, I think I'll pass on purchasing this one. Thanks for sending it
to me to try.

I agree and was adding a little more Latakia to it as I have several ounces of C&D bulk Latakia on hand. Let me know if you want some.
