What pipe tobacco are you smoking today?

I plan on mixing a little SG Best Brown Flake (Virginia) with Peter Stokkebye Balkin Supreme. Both are great on their own, but I find the Balkin Supreme needs a little more sweet flavor in the mix.

Either some Dunhill Durbar or a bowl of my blend (perique, latika, toasted burley and toasted cavendish). Or maybe some Nitecap later.

Esoterica Penzance with a Ben Wade freehand pipe. This tobacco burns quick, so a big bowl pipe should be good for this tobacco. The blend is a Latakia, Oriental, Turkish, and Virginia.

PS Luxury Twist Flake. Virginia tobaccos with a bit of Cavendish are used to create this flake tobacco. They say there is no flavoring, but I think there is a light sweet flavoring added. In the past, there was this sweet caramel like flavor. I have not smoked this tobacco in 6 years. Looking forward in seeing how this tobacco smokes now.

I smoked PS Balkan Supreme in the first pipe I acquired back around 1984, a GBD bent billiard. Back then I thought the stem was cool looking. It is a small pipe but a great smoking pipe.

I will be smoking some Dunhill Nightcap while watching game 2 between the Sharks and Penguins. This tobacco was something I was smoking way back around 1984 (maybe 1985?) when I first started smoking pipes, and cigars. I love this tobacco. It is rather strong tasting, and always a good smoke.

I recall making my first cigar coolerdor in the early 1990's and using empty Dunhill Nightcap circle tins to make humidification devices for the coolerdor. I remember drilling holes in the tins, and putting florist foam inside the tins. I would use distilled water to soak the foam and stick them to the lid of the coolerdor. They worked great. Kept my cigars in great shape.

Nightcap, love this tobacco.
