Southern Draw Jacob’s Ladder Lancero Ignite Some Good Limited Edition

Ok, I’ll admit it. Not only am I a sucker for Southern Draw Lanceros, I’m a big fan of Cigars For Warriors, and donate often. The fact that sales of the jars benefited CFW, I was near the front of the line.

This box pressed beauty has a smooth and oily dark Broadleaf wrapper with a closed foot. The aroma from the foot is primarily cocoa. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a Real Ale Real Heavy Scotch Ale.

The cocoa notes are immediate and intense, as is the black pepper in the retrohale. There is also a light sweetness on the draw. The burn is perfect.

In the first third the initial intensety of the flavors settled into a very smooth profile. The flavors remain a lightly sweet cocoa with some pepper in the retrohale. The burn remains very even.

During the second third a bit of saltiness came and went in the profile. This is a full bodied cigar with lots of flavor and smoke. The burn remains very even. The ash is dropping at intervals that are most likely determined by the wind.

Approaching the final inch some currant has joined the flavor profile. The finish is a light bittersweetness lingering on the tongue and palate. The pepper notes in the retrohale are gone, providing a very smooth full bodied cigar. The construction is immaculate. The burn remains very even to the end. If you’re a fan of the Jacob’s Ladder line, this is a must try cigar. 9.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.

That is a great cigar. I've only smoked one, but I have no doubt I will be smoking more of these.
