During a recent business trip, my wife relocated my coolidor (including the Oasis active humidifier) down to the basement. In the process, she lost the converter for the power cord that takes the round single pin plug from the transformer end into the flat cable that slips through the gap in the lid and connects to the humidifier. Since I'm busy looking for a place to hide the body, can anyone hazard a guess where I might find a replacement part? The Oasis is the small $80 one that has been advertised in retailers forum here. Thanks.

Soemtimes women need to be less helpful. My wife is always trying to "help out" like that and inevitably I end up having to fix or replace something. Unfortunately I do not know where to get you a new thingy for you Oasis. "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - Napoleon Bonaparte

I'd contact whoever you bought it from. If they can't get the part, they at least should be able to steer you in the right direction.

Lux,
The toll free # for CigarOasis is 1-877-627-4798. They are quite good about providing replacemnt/repair components & you save the cost of shipping to the dealer who then turns around & reships to you. cheers, Bob Staebell http:www.aristocrathumidors.com |

And if you can't get through to Lansia, just e-mail me your address. We have about 100 of them here and replacing that piece for you and getting another one from Lansia on our next order isn't a problem.

Yes, we did. It'll be going in the morning. I've been so busy that I've just been grabbing and packing anything I could as quickly as I could get them out.
