Yeah, the program has been over for a while. I remember when they started it. Most of the people in an HD forum I am on did not re-purchase the BDs. But, yes, you are right - I had forgotten that you were able to keep the disc. Some people took the offer and then sold the HD DVDs and essentially broke even. I wasn't going to mess with that. The way I looked at it was that I was paying $5 more for a movie I already own. There was no way I was getting rid of my HD DVD players. I have almost 150 HD DVDs, so even if I traded in 25 I'd still need to keep an HD DVD player hooked up. For me, it wasn't worth the $5 cost to "upgrade" or the time to try and sell the HD DVD.

But that was me. There's no right or wrong here.
