Hoyo de Monterrey Piramides LE 2003
Hoyo de Monterrey Piramides LE 2003
I was lucky enough to score half a box of these a month or so ago, and finally got the chance to fire one up yesterday morning All I can say is wow!!! Absolutely one of the best cigars I've ever smoked. It was a perfect Piramide, shiny wrapped with just a hint of that pre-plume silvery sheen that is seen on well stored cigars. The touch is a little soft but not really loose. the first few puffs reveal an instant and distinctive dark chocolate flavor, from a very smooth velvety smoke. The flavor progressed nicely as it evolved into what I percieved as butterscotch mixed with a nice tawny port. The aftertaste clinging to my mouth for a good long period post smoke The burn was perfect, razor sharp. The whole thing fell into 3 distinct ashes. All I can say is, if you are lucky enough to be holding some...burn them...and if you can still find em buy em
