Now for my second " worthy" review; DMG2 gifted me the stick mentioned. It came with a bunch of SLR pc,s and I was supposed to get 10. I go to put them in the box and there are 11. So I turn the labels facing up and " Voila " its a surprise Party pc( so I thought). But its smaller in ring than 42 so out comes my book and I realize its a Petit Party 5 1/8 x 40. The pre light taste is of cedar in the nose and the wrapper is a beautiful reddish maduro. Now I,m licking my chops because I have pulled out Gerards book of Havana,s .It he says this is fuller bodied and leaves a lasting impression on the palate. Was he RIGHT ! The first impression is of sweet woody spice and that is what I got till the last inch when the darn thing EXPLODED with peppery spice. No accompanying beverage this time and herfed indoors at 4pm. YOWZA, what a great lil fireball this is and was on my " to try " list. Now it,s on my buy list and I think I have much better understanding of the smaller Partagas vitolas than ever before. The D4 and Presidente have long been favorites and I want to thank David for the pleasure of this smoke.
