Chicago Tax Increase Proposal
Help stop Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's attempt to raise $6 million in new taxes on cigars and other tobacco products! It will just drive business away from Chicago's Great American Cigar Shops, and hence not raise a fraction of his projection. Use this petition. It goes to all 50 members of City Council and the Mayor's Office.

Can't say I'm surprised. I lived there for 13 years and do miss the guys at the Board of Trade. There's great cigar shops in Chicago. May as well keep taxing the crap out of them so they have to continue to lose customers. The mark up was already insane when I left there in '14.
