Stan Ridgeway
I was lucky enough to catch his show this past Saturday night at a small club. What an amazing performance! He played for nearly 3 hours ending his set at 1:30am Only missed one of my favorite songs. It was just him with his acoustic guitar, a keyboard player and an electric guitar player. I've never seen a band play without a rhythm section (bass or drums). Sound was pretty damn good and Stan's vocals were in fine form. After the show he signed autographs.
I love concerts in small clubs. So much so that I rarely attend arena shows anymore. It's so much more intimate and entertaining in these little venues. Plus I can smoke a few sticks which makes it even more enjoyable. Had an amazing Trini RE and almost equally nice RGPE while standing just a few feet away from the man himself. Outstanding
