Finally got to the maduro this afternoon.
I liked this one much better than the CT. There were some heavy veins, and a crease the length of one side from the press, but an attractive wrapper otherwise. Like the CT this was a large, but rather light stick, with a light, easy draw. It burned unevenly early but corrected with a touch up. This reoccured more significantly for the final third of the smoke. The flavor here was much more enjoyable than with her lighter skinned cousin, with some leathery flavor, and some wood and pepper toward the end. I caught some of the raw grassy flavors that I'd experienced with the Connie, but not enough to be too distracting. Not a terribly nuanced cigar, but a pleasant medium smoke to go with Sunday football. Smoked for one hour fifty minutes. Thanks again for sending these out.
