Perdomo Cantero Perfecto
This cigar is 5-3/4 by 54-ring with a narrow perfecto foot. The wrapper is a Sun-grown Cafe.
Filler, binder and wrapper are all Nicaraguan. The smell of this cigar is wonderful - like a candy bar. Construction is good and draw is very good especially for the perfecto foot. Because of the foot, it lights very easy. Burn is generally good, with a few corrections needed. The flavors are stout without being harsh. I think this must be the fullest-bodied offering I've tried from Perdomo. Good meaty tobacco flavors, with just a hint of sweetness or maybe even nuts. And did I say, its stout? Well, its worth saying again - its stout. I like it. (For a recent comparison, I found it much better balanced and more complex than a LFD Double Ligero.) This is the 3rd vitola I've smoked in this line, and I've liked them all. |
