Indian Tabac Limited Reserve Buffalo (Churchill) 7x47 EMS/Na

This is the first time I've ever tried one of these Indian Tabac cigars. I received this one as a gift and I've had it resting in a desktop humidor for at least a year.

I smoked it while taking another walk to the park with the family.

Externally, this is a very refined-looking cigar. It comes wrapped in a cedar sleeve, and the band is relatively large, so the fine appearance of the wrapper leaf is well-concealed until the sleeve and the band are removed.

The cigar was well-filled, and the construction appeared to be quite good, though it did burn crookedly at first. It eventually straightened out, and I never had to touch it up with the lighter. The ash broke in a cone shape.

I don't know anything about this cigar brand except what little I've read on the Web and around here. Taste-wise, it has what I would describe as a mild-to-medium flavor profile. I've read the cigar is made in Honduras, but I don't know if it is a Honduran puro or not. It tastes like a Honduran cigar, but is not as flavorful as other Hondurans I've had recently. I wouldn't be surprised to learn it contained a blend of tobaccos including some from outside of Honduras.

Overall, not a bad cigar, but I doubt that I will be buying any. I prefer a little bit more flavor than this cigar supplied. If the flavor matched the appearance, this cigar would be outstanding. At least it was free...
