There was a Phase Linear component along the same lines, as I recall.
Rather than go the integrated analog-to-digital turntable route (which invariably compromises in the RIAA equalization, speed consistency and stylus/cartridge areas), I purchased a Sony digital Walkman recorder that I (apart from listening to when on-the-go) hook up to my stereo system for converting older LPs and cassette tapes to digital files. Once the recording level is set, it works like a charm. (Plus, it permits studio quality oversampling rates.)
