Bolivar Belicoso Fino
Tonight I finally got around to starting smoking what was gifted to me in the Wish list -thread, and what a better way to start than a BBF. This particular example was cabinet selection from -01, with smooth silky light-medium brown wrapper. (TYAK!)
So I cut the cigar, and the draw was perfect for my taste, just enough resistance without being too tight. The burn was very good throughout. From the start it gave quite familiar Bolivar flavor, earthy, somewhat spicy and cedary, very rich and full, and at the same time nicely smooth and balanced. Strenghtwise I'd rate it medium-full, with full body and definitely full flavor, and nice amount of complexity, with long finish. The huge amounts of very thick smoke is also worth a mention. This has definitely gone on my list of "always have some around"-cigars, slightly edging SP Beli from the top spot of Beli size class. Overall I give this ****½ out of 5. (Hmm, I am definitely noticing that I'm becoming a Boli whore in addition of being Partagas whore )
